GUEST SPEAKER BACKGROUND

Matt Craver received his PhD in computer engineering from NCSU, in the Center for Robotics and Intelligent Machines (CRIM). During his time there, he worked on a wide variety of embedded systems projects from wireless crack detection, electronic textiles, to insect based robotic learning. After graduating he went to work for a company that made the first wireless industrial machine condition monitoring solution. It was here that the group who would eventually start Breezi were introduced to each other. The many multi-disciplinary projects throughout the NCSU PhD program really helped Matt develop the skills needed for such a small team and helped train him to quickly pickup new skills, which was very helpful for his work at Breezi.
