The trainings will be held in the following locations and dates from 9:30am-4:00pm:

Wednesday, March 8: Fayetteville

Fayetteville Technical Community College – Horticulture Education Campus

670 N. Eastern Blvd, Fayetteville, NC 28301

The SBIR/STTR Education Sessions emphasize Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of Energy (DOE) markets to assist the applicants. The FFVC Team will focus the sessions of an overall presentation and 1:1 interactions. The FFVC Team outreach is to answer the question for prospective applicants, “What don’t I know that you can tell me today that will make a difference in my ability to win an SBIR/STTR award?” The goal of these sessions is to increase the awareness, number, and quality of SBIR & STTR Phase I proposals and number of awards among eligible small businesses located throughout the state.

The Team has decades of experience in supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses, including raising awareness of and preparing companies to compete successfully for SBIR and STTR. Because of the competitiveness of the programs, FFVC supports early-stage businesses competing as first- and second-time applicants. The FFVC Team is nationally recognized for their outreach to applicants outside of the traditional research areas of North Carolina, including rural applicants, women, and economically disadvantaged applicants.
