Meet Ashley Davis, the new Program Manager at First Flight Venture Center. Ashley, a skilled Polymer Research Scientist with pending patents, is now diving into entrepreneurship, particularly focusing on sustainable ventures in the green space. She excels in managing research and development, specifically in textile fibers and their use in the hair care industry. Ashley played a key role in setting and achieving strategic goals, contributing significantly to the company's vision.

As a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Ashley not only has a strong scientific foundation but is also adept in business. Outside the lab, she passionately advocates for inspiring scientific curiosity in young minds. She co-founded Mono Planet to mentor the next generation on plastics and sustainability, and she initiated Mortar and Pestle Pro, aiding STEM professionals without major corporate internship experience.

Currently pursuing a graduate degree at North Carolina State University, Wilson College of Textiles, Ashley continues her academic journey with a focus on textile fibers. In her role as Program Manager, Ashley will bring a unique mix of scientific knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit, business insight, and patents to enhance the thriving environment at First Flight Venture Center.
