Kevin Christopher
Kevin Christopher is an entrepreneur, patent attorney and principal of Rockridge Venture Law®, a B Corp intellectual property and technology law firm. In addition to representing corporate clients, Kevin is an NIH RadX faculty member and NSF public-private research program evaluator. Kevin has been recognized as a SuperLawyer by Thomson Reuters and Top Business Leader by Conscious Company Magazine. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Kevin led biotech licensing and development activities at Lawrence Livermore National Lab and UC Berkeley.
In addition to founding Rockridge, Kevin has co-founded or acted as key advisor for a broad range of startups, including those with algal protein production, biomass energy conversion, broad spectrum antibiotic, microbiome editing skincare, and hepatocellular carcinoma diagnostic technologies. Kevin has served as an NSF SBIR Phase II reviewer, an NIH SBIR program consultant, and was part of the inaugural SBA Innovation Corps. In addition to First Flight, Kevin is an accelerator advisor with AgLaunch, Bethesda Green Hub, Oak Ridge National Lab Innovation Crossroads, Project Healthcare, Singularity University Ventures, and Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale.
