Oliver Sherrill

Oliver Sherrill is the Senior Vice President - Regional Market Director of the Research Triangle cluster at Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. In his role at Alexandria, Mr. Sherrill is responsible for operations and management of the Research Triangle portfolio. These responsibilities include leasing, acquisitions, facilities management, market analysis, project feasibility, financial modeling, team selection, project management, tenant improvements, development and redevelopment projects, and managing the Research Triangle cluster’s asset services team to ensure the highest level of client tenant satisfaction. Since joining Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. in 2000, Mr. Sherrill has managed a portfolio of life science and agtech properties now totaling approximately 4 million square feet, and has completed over 2.5M square feet of development/redevelopment projects. Most recently Mr. Sherrill and his team have delivered the initial phase of the Alexandria Center for Advanced Technology campus to support our growing life science ecosystem, and the expansion of Alexandria Center for AgTech the country’s first and only integrated multi-tenant and amenity-rich greenhouse campus to support the agtech innovation ecosystem. Prior to joining Alexandria, Mr. Sherrill was with Manekin, LLC in Baltimore, Maryland, where he successfully managed a portfolio of high-rise Class A commercial properties. Mr. Sherrill received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
