Drew Narayan
Drew Narayan combines his engineering and business backgrounds to develop and commercialize innovations in healthcare. He earned his Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. At GE Healthcare, he applied his technical training to roles in software development, integration and testing for multiple medical devices. He completed additional professional development in Six Sigma certification, software engineering and project management. After GE HealthCare, Drew earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School. Through this degree, he built a foundation in commercialization and immediately applied his skills at the startup company Next Safety, Inc. After Next Safety, Drew had multiple roles in product management, marketing, information technology and strategy over 15 years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. During this time, Drew led B2C and B2B marketing teams in addition to working with and evaluating several early stage healthcare companies. Drew was then recruited to PeriGen Inc., where he led the commercial efforts for a software-based medical device powered by artificial intelligence to provide decision support to clinicians. Drew calls Chapel Hill home with his wife, two boys, a dog and a cat.
