Darlene Bascombe

Darlene’s passion is teaching, coaching and creating a culture of excellence. She has 24+ years in management, training, and development.

Prior to joining First Flight Venture Center, Darlene was a Regional Training Manager who oversaw all training for 216 stores from South Carolina to Virginia. As a District Manager, she analyzed sales data, controlled budgets, controlled asset management, and maximized company profits in 17+ stores. She also oversaw all training and development for 200+ employees. Darlene has experience in rolling out new company initiatives, as well as, serving in focus groups and served on district manager advisory boards.

Darlene is known for rebuilding and improving teams through her positive approach and can-do spirit. Her passion and positive outlook are to help people and to be a resource and part of the solution.

In her spare time, she volunteers with Fostering Hope and Hope Closet for foster children and families in need.

Darlene is excited to be a part of the team at First Flight Venture Center where she can be a servant leader for young entrepreneurs with their new adventures that will better serve our communities and change the world.
