Kevin Henson

Kevin Henson is the CEO of Prometheus Consulting Group, a Strategic and Corporate Development consultancy.

Kevin has 25 years of professional work experience in Strategy, Corporate Development and Finance functions. He has worked around the world growing businesses by applying advanced technological solutions in a variety of industry verticals from Healthcare to Intelligence, Farming to Energy and many more.

Prior to Prometheus, Kevin was the VP of Strategy for AICPA, a nonprofit professional association in the Accounting / EdTech space. There he led the development of the Association’s long-term strategy, its Corporate Development activities, served as the Chief Data Officer and owned Enterprise Risk Management for the company. Kevin worked at two Fortune 500 companies prior to the Association, L3Harris and The Boeing Company. In both instances Kevin held roles of increasing responsibility in both finance and strategy functions. Those positions included growth initiative incubation, CFO and corporate development positions, among others.

Kevin holds B.A. degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of Kentucky, and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine. He has also completed executive education programs at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the Darden School at the University of Virginia and is currently pursuing his CGMA and ABV credentials from AICPA.

Kevin lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, is married (Lisa) and has five children (Roslyn, Grant, Cameron, Grier, & Griffin)
