Sirga Advanced Biopharma
Sirga Advanced Biopharma, Inc. (SirgaAB) is an early-stage drug discovery and development
company, focusing on small molecule drugs to treat HIV, other infectious diseases, and
autoimmune disorders. SirgaAB is focusing on fighting disease through a novel mechanism to
block ribonucleic acid (RNA) function at the cellular level. Because of their central role in all of
biology, RNAs are difficult for the pathogens to alter, thereby minimizing the possibility of drug
resistance. SirgaAB is focusing on diseases where drug resistance is a significant problem. The
Company is a spinout of NC State University (NCSU), and was formed in 2007.
